TRIMIT Group Appoints new CEO and COO

December 13, 2021

On 1 January 2022, Carsten Hedemann will take over as Group CEO for the entire Group and Henrik Hoffmeyer will become COO of Cornator. With the rest of the management team, they will lead the ongoing internationalisation of the IT company with 90 employees and subsidiaries in both Norway and the Netherlands.

Viborg, 13 December 2021: It will quite literally be a fresh start to 2022 for the Trimit Group, including Cornator, as the management team is strengthened to further boost the company’s international growth.

As the new Group CEO, Carsten Hedemann will hold overall managerial responsibility for the Group, which consists of Cornator A/S, Trimit Development A/S, Trimit A/S and subsidiaries Cornator Norway and Cornator Netherlands. Most recently, he spent 7.5 years as CEO of IT company netIP, where he led its growth from 50 to 180 employees. Prior to that, he worked in various senior management roles, drawing on supply chain and manufacturing experience in logistics, warehousing and financial systems at Vestas and Oticon.

Henrik Hoffmeyer arrives from a position as COO at Bizbrains, which is active in EDI and digital IT integration projects, and was previously the COO of a digital agency.

“We are delighted to have attracted the right people with strong leadership experience to these key positions. With Carsten Hedemann and Henrik Hoffmeyer in our management team, we will be in a very strong position to realise the plans we have for the coming years, where we seek to unlock a huge potential in Denmark and in the global market, with more customers in the US, Australia and all over Europe,” says Finn Kjærgaard, Chairman of the Board.

With the appointment of Carsten Hedemann, current CEO of Cornator, John E. Kristensen will hand over the management side of the job to the new Group CEO, so that he can concentrate fully on the finance function.

“John E. Kristensen’s title will change to Group CFO, allowing him to focus on the financial and economic side of his management duties. However, he will continue to have some contact with the customers with whom he has long-standing and close relationships," Finn Kjærgaard explains.

Another change is on the product development side, where we wish to enhance the company’s focus on being the market leader in ERP solutions for Fashion, Furniture, Living and Production. Richard Postborg is stepping down as Group CEO to focus exclusively on his role as CEO of the development company, focusing on Trimit and its portals.
