The release of the TRIMIT solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises was scheduled for the end of November 2018. Unfortunately, we have to postpone the release date to December 14th. 2018.
The primary reason for the postponement is the fact that Microsoft has made some changes to Business Central. This is what has been communicated from Microsoft:
We have introduced a small issue in the RTM build and license files for Business Central on-prem. The symptom of the issue is that the user gets this error message:
“Your program license does not permit more users to work simultaneously. Wait until another user has stopped using the program. Contact your system administrator if you want to allow more simultaneous users on your system.”
Microsoft has also communicated that the issue is fixed in their Cumulative Update 1.
This means that TRIMIT for Business Central now has to be based on the CU1. Making the change is a rather large task, as we both need to merge and do all the localizations again. However, we expect to be ready by December 14th, hence this is the new release date.
Despite the slight delay, we expect to be among the first software companies that bring to market a complete industry-specific business software based on Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Together with the release, we will also provide access to Demo Sites with the full TRIMIT for Business Central running live.
We look forward to our first release of the TRIMIT software solution for fashion, furniture, and product configuration on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises.
